Hello! My name is Courtney Mroch, the madwoman behind Alien Invasion Zombie Apocalypse Fitness. I’m a huge fan of alien invasion and zombie apocalypse movies, TV shows and books. I’m also rather large in another way –my weight.
Between Zombieland‘s number one rule (Cardio) and seeing how people live on shows like Falling Skies and The Walking Dead, I found myself thinking things like: “With no more fast food restaurants open, I’d have to eat healthier.” and “With gas in limited supply, I’d be forced to ride my bike or walk. I might get in great shape if an invasion or apocalypse happened.”
It became a game to think of how differently I’d live –and how my health might benefit– if I had to try and survive an alien invasion or zombie apocalypse.
And that is how Alien Invasion Zombie Apocalypse Fitness was born. Join me as I share ideas, tips, and theories about getting in better shape, not only physically but mentally too.
I welcome you to participate along with me, share your experiences and tips, commiserate, or laugh with/at me. I don’t know where we’ll end up. The goal is to arrive at a healthier place –and not be abducted by aliens or eaten by zombies in the event an invasion or apocalypse happens. Or, as I like to put it, “It really doesn’t matter how much you weigh. It only matters if you can get away.”
